Humble Beginnings
Trust in The Lord with all your heart
In 2020, first generation farmers Jessica and Jordan had a big idea. “The families in our community have always been our primary focus. We just wanted to give them a place to bring their kids for a good time.” Says Jordan Walden, who is not only a farmer, but a full time firefighter that has served the community for over a decade. “We hardly had two nickels to rub together, but we took what little savings we had, and we planted 7 acres of pumpkins. Then, we prayed.”
Proof that a little elbow grease and a lot of prayer truly can make the impossible, POSSIBLE. “People laugh when I tell them that I planted and watered 7,000 pumpkin seeds by hand, but I did.” Says Jessica Walden, manager and owner of AMF. The young couple have continued to grow their beautiful agritourism business, all while staying true to their motto- Faith. Family. Farm.
Jessica and Jordan still manage the farm themselves. When the gates are open, they will personally be there to greet you with smiles on their faces, and love in their hearts. Make sure to say hello! They ask that you please pray for their farm, the harvest, and- most importantly, all of those who visit.
